facebook, community site, total facebook users, 2 percent of world populationThat’s right. Facebook says it now has 120 million members. By my reckoning, that’s 2% of the world’s 6 billion people.

If you think that’s astonishing, consider that there’s still plenty of low hanging fruit for Facebook to pluck. I know plenty of tech savvy people, many of them under 30, who have yet to sign up. Inevitably, these people will give in.

    you’re assuming those are unique people, and you have no basis for that assumption. also you’re taking facebook’s numbers. no reason to trust them. and no we won’t “inevitably give in.” like lemmings you joined, and like lemmings you’ll all start heading for the exits when you realize how lame facebook is.
